2. Cast your contestants

3. Press play

Start the season. The simulator advances day by day. You'll see events roll out: who's aligning with who, who won safety, who's on the chopping block.

4. Watch the season unfold

This is the whole point. Read the episodes. Watch alliances you didn't expect. See an idol played at the perfect moment, or a "sure thing" get sent home. Let it surprise you.

5. Run it back

Same cast, brand-new season — it won't play out the same way. Tweak the cast, try a different game, and compare how your contestants do across formats.

Tips to make every season better

• Cast people you know. A blindside hits ten times harder when it's your best friend.
• Mix up the personalities. A cast of all-stars is less fun than a messy one with clear heroes and villains.
